Myopia

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is one of the most common refractive errors of the eye. Myopia occurs when the eyeball is too long. This causes rays of light to focus at a point in front of the retina instead of directly on it. It can also be caused by the cornea or lens being too steep, or a combination of the two. Someone with myopia typically has a hard time reading road signs or seeing distant objects clearly, but has the ability to see objects up close such as a phone or computer, without any problems.
Prescription glasses , contact lenses, LASIK/PRK surgeries can help to correct myopia.

Hyperopia

Hyperopia, or farsightedness, is another common refractive error where distant objects appear so what clearer than objects up close. Hyperopia develops when the cornea is too flat or the eyeball is too short, causing light rays to focus beyond the retina instead of directly on it, thus resulting in blurred vision. Not to be confused with presbyopia which is a part of the natural aging process, hyperopia can occur at any age and people can experience it differently.

Prescription glasses , contact lenses, LASIK/PRK surgeries can help to correct hyperopia.

Presbyopia

Presbyopia is a natural aging phenomenon which typically starts in the mid-40s and results in symptoms such as difficulty with reading small print, eyestrain, or even headaches.

Presbyopia, is the progressive reduction of accommodation whereby an individual loses the ability to see objects up close.

Prescription bifocal glasses or contact lenses can help to correct presbyopia.

Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a refractive error in which the cornea is not perfectly round and has an irregular curvature, more like a football shape. In this condition, light is unable to be focused on a single point, resulting in blurred vision at both near and distance.

Prescription glasses, contact lenses, LASIK/PRK, LRI surgeries can help to correct astigmatism.
